Huxley “Huck”

Huxley was born on March 3, 2018. We drove to get him from our breeder in Grant City, Missouri near the Iowa line. We immediately fell in love with his charming personality. He was house broken within the first two days of being home. He quickly learned to sit, lay down, and come, as well. Since then, our family has adored our giant “puppy”.

He’s a lap-dog at heart, even though he tips the scale at 110 lbs. He definitely enjoys getting out for walks and wrestling on the floor with our three boys, but he also loves to snuggle. He’s become a bit of a bed hog, but the snuggles are worth it.

He comes from a health tested line of AKC Bernese Mountain Dogs that has an average life span of 10 years+. With his gorgeous, shiny coat, perfect markings, and wonderful temperament that’s the perfect balance of fun and energetic and sweet and biddable, we know that his puppies will be fantastic.
